The Americans Plot
Two deep-cover Soviet spies, Philip and Elizabeth Jennings, poses as a typical Washington DC couple whose neither of their children, neighbors, coworkers or friends is aware of their activities. Their arranged marriage grows passionate and genuine by the day. However, as the demands and pressures of the job kept coming and become weighing, it becomes more difficult and exhausting to bear. Having revealed their true identities to Paige, their teenage daughter, Elizabeth and Philip finds it more tenuous to protect their cover as well as the family’s safety. The budding romance between Paige and Mathew, the son of the Jennings neighbor, Stan Beeman_ an FBI agent whose friend is the greatest threat to the safety of the Jennings complicates the matter more.
As the Cold War rages on, the fire on both sides reaches new heights, resulting in Philip and Elizabeth’s work becoming increasingly vital and eminently more perilous.
