On Android Honeycomb, you need to manually configure and connect the VPN. This is described below.

Step 1: Select PandaPow Server

In the PandaPow app, tap Settings, click Add configuration, then select a server. You can change server type and location using the buttons at the bottom. Once you select a server, the address of it will be placed in the clip-board, so you can later paste it in.  Note: remember what type of server you have selected: L2TP, L2TP/IPSec, PPTP, or PPTP Encrypted. You will need this in step 2 below.

Step 2: Add a VPN connection

You’re now in the Android VPN Settings. Tap Add VPN, then choose L2TP, PPTP or L2TP/IPSec w PSK depending on the type of server you selected in Step 1.

Step 3: Enter the Configuration

VPN Name: You can choose this freely, for example PandaPow

VPN Server: fill this in by long-press and paste.

(L2TP/IPSec PSK only) IPSec pre-shared key: HowEasy

(PPTP only) Encryption: if you selected a PPTP server without encryption in step one, this optino must be unchecked

After you’ve entered the correct information, tap the menu in the top right and choose Save.

Step 3: Get username and password

Go back to the PandaPow app. Tap the Settings and make a note of the VPN username.

Go back to the PandaPow main screen, and tap the button Connect (Manually). This will put your password in the clipboard, and forward you to the Android VPN Settings.

Step 4: Connect the VPN

Tap the VPN you created in step 2. Fill in your VPN username. Fill in your password by long-press then paste. Make sure to check “Remember username”.

Now tap connect.

Once connected you will see a key icon in the status bar. You can disconnect by tapping the PandaPow VPN connection in the notification area (pull down the status bar).

To reconnect, you simply repeat step 3 and 4 above, but without filling in the username this time.

If you want to connect to a different server, repeat the whole procedure 1-4, but make sure you choose a different name for the new VPN connection that you create.
